If the battery is removable

– Shut down the Mac

– Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the Ma

– Remove the batter

– Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds

– Reconnect the batter and MagSafe power adapter

– Turn your Macbook on again

Alternatively you could be having problems with your PRAM. PRAM (parameter random access
