We’ve all be there, those meetings that seem to drag on forever. An excuse to procrastinate, a way for disgruntled staff members to vent or for Marcia from accounts to convince everyone to sponsor her son on his bike ride. Either way they are an exceptionally unproductive use of time, avoid them by having only standing meetings. According to this article by Forbes, standing meetings can cut meeting times by 25%. No-one, wants to stand in a hot, stuffy room for longer than 5 minutes and you should find meetings suddenly pass far more quickly.
Get a good night’s sleep

Macbook air, Macbook Pro hire choice
Admittedly Apple products may not necessarily be the cheapest on the market, however the Macbook air and Macbook Pro provides a genuinely phenomenal alternative to other laptops. These can often be exceptionally heavy to carry around and can’t compete with the 12 hours of battery life boasted by the Macbook air. A Macbook air can be a pretty sound investment. However, before splashing the cash why not rent a Macbook Air, Macbook Pro i5 or i7 13inch or 15 inch, to see how it could help enrich and enhance your productivity levels, just give one of our friendly advisors at Macrentalcompany on 0207 293 0447. Take regular breaks
Now it can seem somewhat difficult to take breaks, when you feel as if your to-do list is never ending with more and more tasks simply being added on. However, there will come a point when you are simply staring at your screen and unable to really do any more productive work. It is incredibly important to take regular breaks. We would advise getting out of the office, ideally going for a walk or doing some exercise will find you far more productive than if you simply sit at your desk going just a little bit (for wont of a better word) doo lali.
Now you know. We cannot stress how important this is, going into a meeting without an agenda is a little like embarking on an expedition to the North Pole in your pyjamas. It is really just extremely important that you come pre-prepared with an agenda, ideally this should be handed out to attendees well in advance of the meeting so they can gather their thoughts as well as preparing any additional information that may be needed.
