The Future of iPads?? The iPad Mini 4 may only have been launched just over a year ago, but it hasn’t taken long for Apple fans to begin speculating about the launch of the next iPad. Which makes sense given that serious Apple fans are not known for their patience.
However, as Mac Rental Company recently reported, Apple focused far more on the launch of its latest MacBooks at its widely reported event on October 27th, with little mention or allusion to the future of iPads. This leaves us scratching our heads about the next step in iPad technology. However, our team have done some investigating to scope out the landscape and bring in the latest news and views. According to our sources, it seems highly likely that the launch of the iPad Mini 5 will be delayed until next year, with some reports stating that the tablet might be launched in March 2017 alongside the iPad Pro 2 and the new 10.5 inch iPad Po as well as the lower cost 9.7 inch low-cost iPad.
However, The Future of iPads, there has been a number of commentators who suspect that Apple may actually drop the Mini label and instead release the iPad Pro Mini to streamline the developments with the iPad Pro line-up.
Of course, the real question is what will the latest iPad technology look like? Reports suggest that the tablet will be using Series 7000 aluminium (the same Apple used in their iPhone 6S. This material is far lighter and stiffer than low-grade aluminium, but it has never been used on the iPad. It suggests that overall the new iPad is set to be far lighter, thinner and more durable than any of its predecessors.
It is also thought the new iPad will boast a thinner overall mould, an A10 chipset, 2 gigabyte of RAM and an internal storage starting at 16 GB. Not only that, but it is thought the iPad Mini 5 will have far better photo taking capabilities with an 8 megapixel main camera as well as a 1.2 megapixel front-facing shooter. To support its more portable frame the iPad 5 will have a smaller battery, although thanks to the latest technology it is not believed this will have an impact upon the actual battery life on the tablet. Rather excitingly it is believed the iPad may well boast 3D touch, although it is thought the 7.9in Retina IPS display will remain the same.
Meanwhile The Future of iPads, there is similar furore over the iPad Pro 2, according to Ming-Chi Kuo a market analyst (which we think is a rather nice way of saying geek) Apple will expand the iPad Pro range to sell three sizes: 12.9 inches, 9.7 inches and a new 10.5 inch pro. Our man, Kuo predicts that the smallest iPad will be offered as a low cost option particular for schools and small businesses.
