Mac Rental Company takes a step into comedy, Now you may not know it, but at Mac Rental Company we try not to take life too seriously. In fact, we rather consider ourselves to be a humorous bunch. Well hopefully you know that because you are reading our blog, which we write in the hope that we are able to illicit a chuckle or two. So we were frankly overjoyed when a pretty big comedy production brand approached us in the hope of renting some fantastic Apple equipment from our warehouses for the shows they do up and down the country. So to celebrate this lovely occasion we thought we’d do a nice little piece on the best apps to make you laugh, because as the famous Daniel Powter once said, sometimes you really do just have a bad day.

1. Texts From Last Night

We can’t really lie to you, this one does pretty much what it says on the tin. It displays some of the weirdest and most surreal texts out there on the interweb and displays them on an easy to use app – happy days.

1. WitStream

One of our favourite apps, at Mac Rental Company this beauty means you can avoid all the rubbish you see on Twitter and instead it sends only the funniest tweets delivered to your phone – even available on the iPhone 6, this app is perfection itself.

1. 9GAG

You know all these memes that flood your social media accounts, well chances are they started their life on 9GAG, which is run by some seriously clever people who make memes that will have you laughing until you cry. Expect lots of babies and dancing cats.

1. Talking Tom Cat

If you don’t already have this, what on earth are you waiting for? You can have an adorable cat without any of the actual work – you can play, feed and tickle this virtual pet, who is guaranteed to get you smiling in no time.

1. Instant Buttons

Well, we wouldn’t say this app is the most mature or sophisticated, but it certainly does the trick. Essentially, you can click on any of the buttons and release a sound that is sure to have you in fits and your mates standing around in amazement.
