Mac Rental Company examines Apple’s latest products. Apple normally likes to keep things pretty close to the bone, which at Mac Rental Company we would understand. Listen, if we had created the iPhone, MacBook or iPad we would be rather tempted to keep it a secret as well. However, in recent weeks it seems as if Apple are starting to open the lines of communication and over the past few articles we have had the pleasure of divulging their latest secrets for the enjoyment of our readers in London and across the United Kingdom. And it would seem, this week is no different.
With rumours rife that the company was abandoning the Mac and macOS, which was probably not helped by the fact that many fans complained that the latest MacBook Pros suffered from weak battery lives and a lack of power and ports. This week, Apple announced that it will release new iMacs towards the end of 2017 as well as a “completely rethought Mac Pro” in the near future. In what quite possibly might be a first for Apple, they also apologised for having abandoned the product line which has not been updated in three years. The Mac Pro was released in December 2013 and at the time was at the forefront of technology. It was designed to ensure little running noise whilst cooling its interior – however, due to the initial design Apple found it difficult to expand the product range, hence the three year gap. But beyond the fact that the product hasn’t been forgotten and that it certainly won’t be arriving any time before 2018, Apple still remained tight-lipped over any further details. It would seem they are working hard to make sure that, with the latest advancements, they have the capacity to continue developing and expanding the range. And for those who still would like to see some change to the Mac Pro, Apple has given the old machine a slightly altered spec. The £2,999 model will have the specs that previously were boasted by the £3,899 model, which in turn will benefit from some faster CPUs and GPUs.
And for those who are too impatient to wait until 2018 for a new release, Mac Rental Company examines Apple’s latest products. Apple execs have said that they “have big plans for the iMac” and that it is set to change dramatically, with the Mac Pro customer in mind.
