Apple’s supercomputer! Introducing the awesome iMac Pro! Being hailed as the first supercomputer to hit the market, and the most powerful Mac ever, the iMac Pro does a simply fantastic job of blending design and functionality to create a revolutionary product that is all set to put Apple firmly back on the map. It also boasts an 18 core Xeon processor, up to 22 teraflops of half-precision GPU performance, 128 gigabytes of ECC memory and four terabytes of storage capacity. And also includes a new thermal cooling system, which has two fans – capable of keeping the computer cool even during the most marathon of coding sessions. Finally, if all this extra memory, power and functionality wasn’t enough to tantalise your taste buds, it also comes with thunderbolt USB-C ports so you can connect up to two high-performance RAID arrays and two 5K displays at the same time. And the new iMac Pro also comes with 10Gb Ethernet that will boost your network speeds by up to 10 times.

 These extraordinary features make this iMac one of the greatest computers ever made available on the consumer market, but it also comes at a rather hefty price tag – probably costing a fairly hefty £5,000. Due to hit our shelves in December, just in time for Christmas, nothing says I love you like a 5K of machinery, right? Well, it comes in a rather sleek and shiny grey, which surely makes it all worthwhile.

However, Apple aren’t stopping there – they are also planning on releasing a completely redesigned Mac Pro for high-end computing in a modular, upgradeable design.
