Apple releases news about its top secret March event. At Mac Rental Company we always keep our Google alerts on for any information on Apple, we are always desperate for any news about this notoriously secret and guarded company so to say we were happy on Monday would be a little of an understatement. We cracked open the bubbly, our favourite bar of Cadbury’s dairy milk and imagined a world where iPhones were red and where iPads were event better than the current slick style.
Yes, the rumours are true – Apple is planning to launch a trio of new iPads alongside a new red coloured iPhone 7, iPhone 7 plus and quite possibly a new seasonal strap for the Apple watch. It may also see the release of a new 10.5 inch iPad that features an edge to edge display (not unlike the iconic screens seen over at competitor Samsung) and no home button, which was hinted at as far back as September last year. And, as if all that weren’t enough it may also release a 128 GB version of its iPhone SE, offering those who favour the compact 4-inch a fair amount more storage space.
This event would be the first major overhaul of the Apple’s iPad Pro line and would also replace the, slightly rusty, iPad mini with a brand new 7.9 iPad Pro. This new iPad Pro will feature a: smart connector, True Tone display, four speakers, as well as a 12-megapixel rear-facing camera.
What’s perhaps even more exciting than the confirmed reports is that, according to the team over at the DigiTimes, there are a number of new products are a ‘still in the planning.’ Who knows – perhaps Apple is planning on releasing an iPhone to match every colour of the rainbow. A number of Apple analysts have suggested that the March event could well be a prime opportunity for Apple to update its 12-inch MacBook with Retina display, as it would match the release of the other two models which debuted in April last year. However, it all seems to be a little up in the air….
