Apple iPhone in 2019? What will the Iphone look like in 2019
2018 has not been a great year for Apple. Iphone sales declined for the first time in human history. And whilst normally Apple operates under a level of secrecy paralleled only by the secret service, this year there have been a number of rumours circulated around the release of the Iphone 7. Now whilst we are not normally inclined to gossip, and we (and more importantly our lawyers) feel we should add the disclaimer that all the following information is complete and utter speculation here are the best rumours from the internet about the Iphone 7.
The disappearing headphone jack
Apple iPhone in 2019? There are a number of rumours circulating, by even Forbes themselves, that the headphone jack of the iphone has been removed from the latest design. Instead, Apple has commissioned a new batch of headphones that connect to the phone through the lightening port. The arguments for this (admittedly rather controversial move) is that it will allow Apple to build headphone amplifiers into the headphones themselves and therefore boosting the quality of the audio. It also will also allow for a thinner iPhone and taller (clearly Apple is inspired by catwalk models.) It also puts pressure on headphone manufacturers to create far more advanced Bluetooth headphones.
The Touch ID home button
In an attempt to further enhance the signature Apple Iphone aesthetic of minimalistic chic it is rumoured Apple are planning to ditch the Touch ID and instead integrate a capacitive home button. To put this is slightly more simple terms for those of you without a Computer Science degree, this means the home button will be touch sensitive, meaning you don’t have to waste any excess energy on having to press down on the screen. According to our sources Apple design chief Jony Ive not only has one of the best professional titles in the world, but has also been pushing for the iPhone to appear like a single sheet of glass. Apple iPhone in 2019?
It is the nightmare scenario, you drop your Iphone into a body of water and as if in slow motion you watch in abject horror as it takes its fatal plunge. For years we have heard customers complain that if we can put man in the moon, then surely we should be able to create an Iphone that repels water. Well it seemed as if all our dreams had come true when videos of the iPhone 6s surviving 30 minutes underwater went viral. It later turned out that Apple secretly added adhesive strips inside the iPhone 6s to prevent any moisture getting in. A Chinese blog is claiming this was a precursor to the iPhone 7 that will be waterproof certified.
