At the Mac Rental Company we work with a number of business owners around the UK who may require the rental of a MacBook Pro, iPad or even iMac. Proud of the relationships we have built, we like to think we are on pretty good terms with all of our clients, which comes in mightily handy when writing these blogs. Recently we realised that we have grown our event planner network quite significantly – which makes sense as they often need additional equipment for conferences or events. Is any event complete with the use of an iPad Pro? So we spoke to them and got the skinny on the best Apple Apps to help improve your events.
WiFi Analyzer
In this day and age, WiFi is considered a basic human requirement – akin to bread and water. This is particularly true at events where exhibitors may require Wifi and where they may also be a number of foreign delegates. In order to ensure that you keep your guests happy, you can use this App to analyse the WiFi connection at any event. This includes the speed of the connection, interference from other signals as well as highlighting any areas of the venue that have a particularly weak signal. A must have for any event planner.
ArrangeMySeat
A rather nifty little App, ArrangeMySeat does what it says on the tin – taking care of your seating arrangements at an event. Either you can arrange the seating chart yourself or have your guests choose their seats. Not only that, but it allows you to manage your RSVPs as well as having a space where you can ask guests questions about the event – like a menu preference.
Boomset
If you are organising a big event and want a way to check people in, Boomset can prove immensely helpful. Allowing you to check people in using QR codes, it also allows you to print badges and create wristbands. Really helping to make registration smooth, it also integrates with other platforms you might be using for the event.
Bizzabo
This clever app allows you to manage all of your event planning needs in one place. Using this user-friendly and rather attractive looking app, you can manage your contacts, send emails, create an event website as well as create a networking experience through the app.
Everwall
With Twitter often an integral and provoking aspect of any event, having a Twitter wall can be immensely helpful. Everwall allows posts to be displayed quickly and also allows you customise, moderate and advertise through the sofhandy Twitter wall.
software.
